Girls’ Night Is Necessary: 10 Fun Ideas Beyond the Bar Girls’ night is necessary. Not optional. Necessary. Life moves fast. People are working, traveling, dating, building businesses, exploring new hobbies, figuring themselves out, and handling the million other things adulthood requires. Before you know it, weeks have passed and the only time you’ve “talked” to your friends is through Instagram stories or the group chat. That’s why girls’ night matters. Recap LGBTQ+ Sunday Funday — July Recap Sun, July 26, 2026 · TRIBE, Louisville, KY Fifty of us showed up to TRIBE for July’s Sunday Funday, and while it was a smaller crowd than some months, the energy never once dipped. DJ 2Kfro held the floor down from open to close, $7 lemon drops kept everybody loose, and the food truck parked out front meant nobody had to choose between dancing and eating. This is exactly why we keep throwing Sunday Funday — Louisville needs more LGBTQ+ parties like this, low-key spaces where you can show up as you are and just be in community. If you’re looking for Louisville gay events that actually feel like home, this is the one to have on your calendar. Watch the Recap TikTok No video recap for this event.
