Melanin Pride Weekend hits its 10th anniversary, Sapphic Séance runs back-to-back speed-dating nights, and Black Queer Power Hour closes out summer with a pool party. Pulled straight from the master events list, one month, all in one place.

Melanin Pride Weekend: 10 Years Strong
Pride Games Events marks a full decade of Melanin Pride Weekend with three days of programming across Jubilee Field — a day party and a closing panel on the Black LGBTQ+IA experience. Every component event this weekend carries the LGBTQ+ tag. This is the biggest queer weekend on Louisville’s September calendar.
DOLLY: A Night of Celebration
Presented by karmenkazzi, this one celebrates the legacy of Dolly Parton with proceeds going to Dolly’s Imagination Library. A feel-good tribute night with a cause behind it.

All Shades of Melanin Day Party
Music by DJ Bombshell — a day-party warmup ahead of Melanin Pride Weekend proper the following week.
Sunday, September 6
Black Queer Power Hour: “100% Juicy” — End of Summer Pool Party
DJs jamea! (Detroit) and mobeethiccc! (Chicago) close out the summer. Presented by Black Queer Power Hour x Sonic Sirens x Angel’s Envy — bring socks, underwear, or t-shirts for the on-site drive benefiting Sweet Evening Breeze.

Sapphic Séance: “No AI, Just a Bar and Singles”
Sapphic singles, games, and tarot. Same presenters as the Sep 3 Séance, second date this month — “you reached out, we pivoted.”

Birdie & Vi’s Movie Night: Desert Hearts
Outdoor movie night at the lesbian-owned Louisville staple — this month’s pick is the sapphic classic Desert Hearts.

Lesbian Tea Dance
The standing 2nd-Saturday-monthly tradition — no theme confirmed yet this month, but it’s on the calendar.

Beach Day — Louisville Sapphic Social Club
“Soak up the sun and dive into the community” — LSSC’s end-of-summer beach hang, worth the short drive out of the city.

No Man’s Land: Karaoke Night
A karaoke night for lesbians and marginalized genders. Allies welcome at 11 PM with a $5 ally pin — proceeds benefit Louisville Youth Group.

We Outside: Melanin Edition — 10-Year Anniversary
Hosted by Goldie with music by DjibJam’N, closing out the weekend with a panel discussion — “Yesterday’s Conversation, Today’s Results: The Black LGBTQ+IA” — featuring Coach Shine, Deidra Hall, and Jaison Gardner.
